Members of Chambers regularly advise on data protection and freedom of information matters, countryside law (commons and rights of way), minor highways and Parliamentary Bills (both public and private). Members have appeared at planning inquiries and before committees of both Houses of Parliament. Chambers also acts for local authorities in housing cases and has extensive experience of judicial review. Some members have wide-ranging experience of human rights litigation (at Strasbourg and elsewhere) and of cases concerning local government powers, education and mental health. Members of Chambers contributed to and edited the leading practitioner text, The Law of Freedom of Information (1st ed, 2003). Furthermore, two members of Chambers have sat on the editorial committee of the Rights of Way Law Review.
