Charlotte Ford

Charlotte Ford was called to the Bar in 2007, and is a Denning and Hardwicke scholar of Lincoln’s Inn. Charlotte is developing a broad-based commercial chancery practice comprising a wide range of work. She regularly appears in county courts in a variety of matters, including insolvency proceedings, contractual disputes and enforcement proceedings. Charlotte also frequently appears on public law matters for local authorities, including applications for injunctions. She has a growing property practice, and frequently advises and acts in landlord and tenant disputes. She also has experience as a junior, most recently on a case involving a breach of restrictive covenants. Charlotte is expanding and developing her trusts and estates practice, and is an editor of the forthcoming edition of Theobald on Wills. Most recently, Charlotte has acted in a complex mortgage dispute, encompassing possession, bankruptcy and breach of contract proceedings. Out of court, Charlotte undertakes a wide range of advisory and drafting work, covering all areas of Chambers’ practice. Charlotte read law at Downing College, Cambridge where she was awarded a double first class degree in 2006 and completed the BVC at the Inns of Court School of Law. Charlotte has also taught trusts law on a part-time basis at City University, London. |
