Caley Wright
Call: 2008 

Caley Wright was called to the Bar in 2008. He read classics at New College, Oxford University where he was awarded a first class degree in 2005. After a year working as a management consultant, he undertook the GDL and BVC at BPP Law School. He is a Brougham, Denning and Hardwicke Scholar of Lincoln’s Inn.

Caley started his tenancy in October 2009 and is developing a broad-based commercial chancery practice. He regularly appears in personal and company insolvency matters, possession hearings and other applications in both the High Court and county courts.

Out of court, Caley has undertaken a variety of advisory and drafting work, covering a number of areas of Chambers’ practice, including commercial chancery, company and insolvency and property. He also has experience as a junior, and was instructed in a large scale dispute arising from a share agreement which is currently ongoing in the High Court.

During his pupillage, he experienced a number of Chambers’ areas of practice, including work in general commercial disputes, company law, insolvency, housing, trusts and contentious probate.
